The COLOUREM® Process
The “COLOUREM®” coaching method, developed by Dr. Kerstin Liesenfeld in 2006, is a systemic coaching tool that is ideally suited to helping us understand and make use of the interactions between four key macrosystems of our brain’s functioning.
Using the COLOUREM® method, it is possible to set your own goals, learn to break them down into actionable steps, gain a personal sense of what is feasible and your own limits in achieving those goals, and draw appropriate conclusions from setbacks or negative feelings.

COLOUREM® is fundamentally based on three scientific theoretical models: the Dynamic Skill Theory by Professor Kurt W. Fischer of Harvard University, the Personality System Interaction Theory by Professor Julius Kuhl of the University of Osnabrück, and the 8-Stage Personality Theory by the late psychoanalyst Erik Erikson of Berkeley and Harvard University. Building on these established models and current research into the complex functionality of the human brain, COLOUREM® facilitates the identification of self-compatible goals, helps overcome internal obstacles, and expands one’s sphere of action. COLOUREM® aims to train self-awareness and enable individuals to independently create and utilize flexible shifts in emotional states.
We offer annual supervision circles on the COLOUREM® coaching tool for professional coaches, consultants, and educators.
