Sanna Ohm

Research Assistant, Project Lead for Emotion Regulation

Sanna Ohm started out as a trainee at the Liesenfeld Research Institute and has since combined theory and practice in a unique way: In addition to her work at the institute, she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Psychology, which allows her to seamlessly integrate theoretical insights into ongoing research projects.

With a background in psychology and sustainability studies, Sanna is very interested in applying her psychological knowledge to explore the intersection between personal development processes and sustainable and social change in society.

At Excellence in Mind and the Liesenfeld Research Institute, she brings her curiosity and broad expertise to a variety of projects. In particular, she focuses on developing a psychoeducational program for young adults that centers on emotion regulation as a core skill. In addition, she supports research projects that examine the motivations and barriers to sustainable behavior.

Even outside of her studies and work, Sanna indulges her curiosity—especially in the kitchen. She loves to eat and could spend her days discovering new recipes and ingredients and cooking for her loved ones.
